EVLA transition for Observers

While the NRAO is in the process of building the EVLA, retrofitted antennas are being returned to the operational VLA, and are operated in a transition mode that may not yet have all VLA features available. Detailed information about the inclusion of EVLA antennas into the VLA is posted at the links below and updated on a regular basis.

All EVLA antennas accepted by Operations will be included in your observation - no special comments are needed in the observe file. We recommend that observe files are sent to the data analysts for checking well in advance of observing.
