This is intended for VLA observers using Ka-band (8-9mm, 26.5-40
GHz). Since this is a completely new band, and not just an upgrade
of an existing band, typical VLA observation preparation software
such as JObserve cannot be used to create observing files for this
band.
Instead, the new EVLA Observation Preparation Tool (OPT) needs to
be used. Instead of creating VLA-specific observing files it
creates scripts, which are used by the Executor controlling the
EVLA.
