The transporter crew moves the antennas. This means they must keep the two giant antenna transporters in good working order at all times. They must also coordinate with the antenna mechanics, track crew, servo techs, and others any time an antenna must be moved, whether it is being moved into the barn for routine maintenance, to another location in the array, or on to the support structure to change an azimuth bearing.

Martin does some routine maintenance on the transporter inside the garage.
Marlin, Martin and Tom prepare to turn the wheels on the transporter ninety degrees. The transporter will then carry the antenna to the pad.
Tom and Martin secure the antenna to its pedestal.
